UniquaxTM
P20-BX 20 gpm single bag filtration unit, with explosion proof motor
and starter
If you produce or use
inks, paints, or other liquids that must be filtered before shipment
or use, UniquaxTM pump-filters can increase
the quality of your products in a very cost effective way.
Because UniquaxTM units are
portable, one unit can service the needs of your entire plant, saving
the cost of dedicated units for each work site. Just wheel the
unit to where it is required.
Here is a list of

filter:
Capacities: 0.6 gpm (For laboratory or Quality Control use)
to 50 gpm or more for production
Viscosities to 10,000 SSU (Approximately 4,000 centipoise)
Temperatures to several hundred degrees
Paints, inks, resins, coatings
Products with virtually any organic solvent
Products with many inorganic chemical liquids
Sanitary products (food and pharmaceutical)
UniquaxTM
pump filters are custom-built. We have crafted them for more than
30 years, and virtually every one has features that are unique to a
specific customer need. Here are some of the options available:
Electricals - TEFC or Explosion-Proof, single phase or three
phase, 60 or 50 Hz
Air Driven Units - Air driven double diaphragm pump, or air-motor
driven gear pump
Pump Materials - Most pumps are cast iron. We can also use
plastic, ductile iron, 316 SS, or other materials
Piping - Black iron is most common. 304/316 SS, PVC, and
sanitary tubing are available
Push Carts - Normally carbon steel. 304/316 SS available
Wheels - Normally non-sparking 5" casters. Your choice of
all swiveling, or two swivels and two non-swiveling
Pressure Gauge(s) - Normally liquid filled. Gauges include
gauge protector to keep product out of the gauge
Suction Strainers - Viking Lid-Ease basket strainer is the most
common due to low cost and good performance
Filter Vessels - Carbon steel and 304/316 SS are most
common. Available with ASME coding if desired
Filter Vessel Types - We build units with your choice of bag or
cartridge style filters
Filter Vessel Quantity - A single vessel is most
common. Double filters are optional for sequential or duplex
operation
Manual Bypass - This option helps slow the flow through the
filter when it is clogged
